02What we process, why, and on what legal basis
Address, Google place ID, and satellite roof-scan data
To produce your solar report and quote request. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b).
Telegram display name and chat messages
To run the conversation you started with our assistant. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b).
Contact details you explicitly share (name, phone, email), verified by an email code
Shared only with solar installers you approve by name, and only after an installer commits. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) — withdrawable at any time by messaging “delete my data”.
Payment records
Processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our systems. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b).
03Processors and recipients
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to deliver the service:
- Stripe — payments.
- Proton Mail — email.
- Google Maps Platform / Solar API — geocoding and roof analysis.
- Telegram — chat.
- OpenAI — the AI assistant powering the chat.
04What installers receive
Installers you approve receive, in two stages:
- First, an anonymized brief — postcode and district only, with no identity.
- Your identity and exact address — only after you approve that installer and they commit.
05How long we keep it
Active leads plus 12 months, after which your data is erased. Stripe retains what payment law requires.
06Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your data
- Rectification (correction)
- Erasure
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection
- Complaint to a supervisory authority
07Making a request
Message the bot (“delete my data”) or email ai@asap.solar — we answer within 30 days. Every email we send includes DELETE/STOP handling.
